Visitor Centre

The Gardens' Visitor Centre offers facilities and Botanical Gardens Visitor Centre and Restaurant services to make your visit even more enjoyable. Our friendly personnel can offer information about the Gardens and suggestions on activities you may enjoy. The centre has a shop offering a range of quality merchandise and unique souvenirs.

Call at the kiosk for a light snack, or enjoy a meal or refreshments at the Botanical Gardens Restaurant.

Botanical Shop

The Botanical Shop is centrally located in the Visitor Centre, adjacent to the restaurant, and stocks a wide range of quality Tasmanian merchandise, unusual botanical gifts and selected botanical publications.

Training Centre

Our Training Centre is an intimate conference, workshop or meeting venue in a beautiful setting.

Restaurant

The restaurant at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens would have to be one of the most delightful places to enjoy a meal anywhere in Tasmania, and its magnificent new deck offering sweeping views of the Gardens and Derwent River are an ideal place for an intimate meal or celebration.
