Strategic Plan 2003-2007
During 2002 the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens Board and staff developed a Strategic Plan for 2003-2007, which was approved by the Minister for Tourism, Parks, and Heritage, the late Honourable Jim Bacon, in April 2003. This Plan acknowledges the challenges identified by more than 200 stakeholders from 60 different government, community and industry organisations through workshops.
The strategic priorities identify eight key goal areas, which are being addressed through a number of strategies and actions to be implemented by the RTBG staff over the five-year period.
