Major Events
The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens is a popular venue for a wide variety of public events including performances, festivals, concerts, exhibitions and community celebrations.
All events held at the Gardens are governed by legislation, guidelines and procedures designed to ensure the health and safety of the public and prevention of damage to the Gardens.
Event organisers wishing to propose an event for the Gardens should contact the Gardens' Marketing and Events Officer well in advance of the proposed date. A detailed written proposal will be required. If a proposal is accepted, the event organiser will be required to enter into a formal license agreement with the Gardens.
