Going to great heights for Arbor Day

29/07/2009

Everything you need to know about the trees in your garden will be answered at a special Arbor Day celebration at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens this Sunday (August 2).

Expert arborists will provide information about tree selection, planting and maintenance from 10am to 2pm at the RTBG visitor centre.

And, to amuse the youngsters (and impress adults), these versatile and agile horticulturists will demonstrate their tree climbing prowess, with a safety harness of course.

Special books and trees (listed below) will be for sale.

Bring the family along for a fun informative day out.
