Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden
This 13 hectare garden contains over 22,000 select rhododendrons
and companion plants that provide a spectacular display between August and February.
In addition to the spectacular hybrid rhododendrons familiar to gardeners, the Garden displays many wild species rhododendrons planted to reflect their geographical origins from Asia Minor, across the Himalayas to China, Japan and to North America.
A series of walks provide extensive opportunities to enjoy the plants, wildlife and tranquillity of this unique environment.
Platypus, echidna, and diverse bird life, are routinely sighted by visitors to the garden. Other landscape features include gazebos, bridges, waterways, and a fountain.
Open daily 10am to 4pm from 1st August until the end of February (Christmas Day excepted)
