Schools Education

Each year many thousands of school students, from primary schoolers through to tertiary, Practical education in the Discovery Centreparticipate in classes and organised visits to the Gardens during term time.

School groups can expand their horizons and explore their senses by becoming involved in the education program at the Gardens.

During the educational sessions, groups can discover the diversity of plants and learn how they grow, cycle, adapt and support the web of life. These sessions are supported by games, displays and walks. There are based outside.

Education officers also assist school visits through the many activities.

Bookings are necessary and there is a charge for these activities.
