Easy Access Garden
The Easy Access Garden was constructed as a project
for the Year of the Disabled (1981) and was officially opened in 1983, becoming the second of only two such facilities in Australia's botanic gardens, the other being in the Australian National Botanic Gardens in Canberra.
Community and conservation classes are offered in the easy Access Garden, and classes are held for people with special needs. The public may also wander through the raised garden bed display or book the adjacent Training Room for meetings and functions.
